The weather was overcast on the days I took photos, so the lighting wasn’t ideal. I'm wondering if any of the images are ok. I found this image interesting because of the trees at different stages during spring—some with cherry blossoms, some with fresh green foliage, and others still bare—framing the tower. I would love to hear your feedback on if/how I can improve this image and continue growing in my photography.

1/800 f/5.6 ISO 250.

Hello Sharon

Thank you for sharing your Framed by Spring photo with us. The blossom and colourful foliage are beautiful, but the colourless sky is a weakness and I wonder if there is too much blossom obscuring the architecture. I have tried to add a slight tint to the sky as well as increasing definition and working on the colours a little, but I can't say how well the photo might fare in curation.

Good light, Elizabeth
