Hi,
I'm going to send the following photo to the curation, however, I would like to have your advice to improve it.
In this photo, keeping some intensity in the mood, I would like to express the sadness and sensuality.
I love the strongness and intensity in the eyes of this model, however, I find sadness also.
With her eyes, I think, I can express the sadness, but I want more idea to improve.
Please give me some advice and thoughts?
In this time, I considered a little, the movement of the line of sight of viewer.
I want to move viewer's line of sight, so that the viewer feels some movement.
In my opinion, the viewer firstly sees the top-left; nothing but black space is there.
Secondary, viewer's line moves to the top-right, then viewer finds her eye.
Then along with her face and her body, line of viewer moves down. finaly to the bottom-right.
How about my consideration?
Here is some information about this photo.
ISO 400
1/4000 sec
Original source: *.CR2 (Canon RAW file)
Using Adobe Lightroom
Please give me some feedback.
Thank you.
Dear Nogokesaku,
You're assumption how a viewer will see is not very likely. Brightness atrracts our view, eyes are a "magnet". So dark areas without structure are disregarded, even after seconds. Nothing to see, we won't look there. Our eyes probably go to the eyes and then to her bright chest. Unfortunately, we usually look from left to right, so everything else is then "on the way back". If you flip it, her earrings and the fabric get more attention, jut because they are "on the route" of our (western european) regular route for the eyes. See yourself:
I thing that's stronger, easy trick...
Best regards,
Mike
Mike,
Thank you for your comment.
Your are right. I have thought a little bit complicatedly.
Flip the image... I didn't reached that idea!
I see your retouched image is more powerful and straight, easy to be focused on her eyes.
I will consider to flip the image.
Thank you for your useful advice!
